ITT Lowara at MCE

30/03/2006

On the occasion of the 35th edition of the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, held in Milan at the beginning of March 2006, ITT Lowara presented its updated and expanded range of circulators, including models that feature a new automatic motor running speed adjustment system, designed to reduce energy consumption and keep operating noise levels to a minimum.

ITT Lowara took part in the MCE 2006 exhibition with a booth of approx. 300 m², featuring a projection room equipped with a futuristic 3D projection system, where the third “episode” of the animated feature portraying LOOP was screened. This now popular virtual character has been entrusted with the task of illustrating the products and solutions offered by ITT Lowara.

This year, a preview of the LOOP4U software was presented in a specially designed Multimedia Totem. The pump selection program has been developed by ITT Lowara as an aid to system design and sizing.

The Building Services and Booster Sets projects provide extensive and detailed documentation designed specifically for the Building Services sector.
This documentation consists in a complete guide designed to help solve the problems of small, medium and large building companies. Various types of systems are analysed in detail and tips are provided concerning system sizing. The guide also includes a detailed list of pipefittings needed for completing the installation.

Particular attention is dedicated to the innovative electronic devices designed to supplement the pumping systems, ensuring considerable energy savings. These include an automatic pump running speed regulator, as well as Hydrovar®, a frequency converter equipped with microprocessor, capable of automatically managing the pump’s performance based on system conditions and requirements.

A press conference held at the MCE exhibition also enabled ITT Lowara to announce its sponsorship of the sailboat Adriatica - Velisti per caso (Sailors by Chance) during its next travels round the world.

Main sponsor of a lap, ITT Lowara has thus joined the other companies operating in the water, heating and sanitary sector that sponsor this initiative in support of a program titled “In the Wake of a Dream”, the Telefood project organized by the FAO and other Onlus organizations operating in the countries that will be visited by the famous vessel in the course of its coming world tour.

ITT Lowara looks forward to seeing you at the next trade fair: Accadueo (H2O) in Ferrara, at the end of May.
