Lowara offer irrigation solutions
05/02/2001
A new feature is that the Lowara SV pump coupled with a Hydrovar variable speed drive can aid the irrigation designer by now accepting 2 simultaneous inputs. These inputs can either be 0-10 Volts or 4-20 mA and can work in two ways:
1) By determining a new operating pressure
2) Modifying the pressure incrementally as the system changes
It is normal practice that in irrigation systems they are split into zones, these zones can be in many metres apart and therefore need the pump to operate at different pressures to compensate for varying pipework lengths. Another scenario is that dependant upon the plants being propagated, there may be needs of different water capacities and pressures, by utilising this new function then the pump will operate at two different pressures and satisfy the users needs.
