Lowara contributes to courses for future fire-prevention/fire-fighting experts

11/06/2002

On March 22, 2002, Lowara contributed to a seminar on Law 818/84 at the Engineer's Association of the Province of Caserta at the request of the engineers and the Provincial Fire Department.

The course was concluded with a final examination that permitted the issue of the certificates prescribed by the important law above.
Law 818/84 has been a point of reference in the fire-fighting sector for the last twenty years because in addition to introducing the Temporary Authorisation that permits the continuation of activities while awaiting the completion of the process required to obtain the Fire Prevention Certificate, the expert in question is authorised to issue certificates himself.

The seminar attended by approximately 60 engineers dealt with the regulatory and technical aspects of the water supplies in the fire-fighting network through a comparison of the requisites prescribed by Italian regulations UNI 9489-9490-10779) with those of other European and North American nations.

The extent of the seminar's success was clearly evident by the sincere gratitude expressed for Lowara's contribution.
In addition to any future commercial opportunities that may arise as a result, the company may be rightly proud of the preference awarded in the selection of Lowara for the management of this important seminar over all the other companies that produce pumps in the market.
