Hortifair exhibition, Amsterdam

09/12/2002

Van der Ende pumps, our distributor for the agricultural and greenhouse industry has participated at the International Horti fair exhibition in Amsterdam. The exhibition for flowers, fruit & vegetables and greenhouse industries.
Lowara supported Van der Ende pumps by sending sales people and many demo units and pumps.
Highlights at van der Ende stand were the new complete FC in-line pumps up to DN 150, Hydrovar Smart and most interesting to the visitors was the sensorless Hydorvar.
The sensorless Hydrovar is a solution for a big problem in the greenhouse industry.
Many differential transmitters brake down because of waterhamer in the greenhouse heating systems.
This is a typical problem in this market because of quick closing valves in these systems.
During the show, we had good support from Markus Holzmann from the Hydrovar team in Austria.
New for this market is the about to be launched Teknospeed. Especially in this market we expect a positive receipt for this product.
Van der Ende received about 82 specific interesting requests from customers, for all new products.
Summarized, the exhibition was very successful in terms of new business.

Hydrovar, smart frequency converter

Van der Ende Pumps is introducing an affordable solution for large frequency controlled pumps. The Hydrovar-Smart combines the cheaper control card for existing small pumps with the power board of large frequency controlled pumps by any brand. The control card can control several pumps at once, can take over the performance of a defect pump, and can provide for the same amount of running hours by automatic take over and switching of pumps. Due to the coupling with the Hydrovar, the installation company only has to set 4 instead of the over 300 parameters in order for the pump to function well.
