Water for my "reg"

Lowara France, the French branch of Lowara S.r.l., a member of the ITT Industries, has helped make a farm in southern Morocco fertile and has allowed families living in the TIKIRT reg to have access to clean water( "reg" is an arabic word that means a particular type of desert).
A mod. BG surface pump was installed on a farm at AGOURAI. This makes it possible for the farmer to irrigate his crops using a 50 m³ renewable reserve. The pump also distributes water directly to the dairy cow shed.
Another mod. BG surface pump was installed in the TIKIRT reg. It distributes water directly to all the families living in the area. The pump also irrigates the medicinal plants and maize that are used to rear ostriches.
Lowara also supplied a Scuba bore-hole pump, installed at a depth of 27 metres, to the «Horizon» centre for handicapped people at OUARZAZATE, replacing the faulty old equipment that was no longer suitable for the requirements of the centre. The new pump distributes water to all the care rooms of the centre and has allowed two objectives to be reached: independence and an increase in the number of residents at the centre.
