Big reputation in a small country
10/06/2007
Reputation goes a long way. In fact, it has taken Lowara to the Kingdom of Bahrain to work on one a prestigious development.
Application: Municipal water supply
While Bahrain is the smallest of the Arab nations, the
redevelopment of the Bahrain City Gardens site into the World Trade Centre was anything but small – with two towers stretching 240 metres tall and the first commercial building to have wind turbines installed.
Facing fierce competition Lowara was chosen to supply the pump technology based upon a positive experience with its products in the past.
The towers are fed with five Triplex Transfer Pumpsets and three Variable Speed Booster Pumpsets. The commission has surpassed the consultant and the contractor’s expectations of high efficiency and performance.
