Local students appreciate the value of water

ITT Lowara was pleased to host the award ceremony for local Montecchio Maggiore Schools who enthusiastically participated in the “Water Projects” challenge.
The event was promoted by the local Town Council’s Environmental Department together with Artemide Association and with the participation of ITT Lowara. The Montecchio Maggiore primary and secondary school students in institutes 1 and 2 participated in the award competition which included the creation of calendars featuring drawings with water as the focal theme. A map was produced plotting all the fountains and water features in the Montecchio area.
First place was awarded to class 5 C, “Zanella” primary school, followed by first grade classes A,B, C and D of “Anna Frank” secondary school and then by second grade classes A,B and C of the “Manzoni” primary school. Fifth place was awarded to fourth grade A,B and C of the “Milani” primary school.
“We are proud to host such an important event, we support this significant educational project with great enthusiasm” – said ITT Lowara Plant Director.
The winners received a number of prizes which included six PC’s, a projector, a multi-function printer, ten displays and two notice boards.
