New ITT Lowara 10” and 12” Submersible Pumps

28/09/2009

ITT Lowara introduces a new line of stainless steel submersible pumps for 10’’ and 12’’ wells. The Z10 & Z12 line of pumps are especially designed for high hydraulic efficiency. Extensive use of high grade materials ensures both high corrosion and wear resistance even in aggressive environments. The high resistance against corrosion and wear also guarantee that the efficiency of the hydraulic is maintained over a long period of time. For highly aggressive water environments a full duplex version is also available.

The new series covers a wide performance range with five main sizes available. The smallest is the Z10150 with 150 m³/h nominal flow and the largest is the Z12420 with a nominal flow of 420 m³/h. The complete range offers heads up to 545 meters and flows up to 520 m³/h.

The hydraulic design, together with investment castings for high surface finish, give an efficiency that for almost every duty point between 120 m³/h and 460 m³/h is higher than 80%.

The high grade materials used, the strong design and optimal material thickness make the new range competitive against traditional cast iron pumps. Over time energy consumption and service are considered to be the main part of the total cost of operation, and the new Z10 & Z12 designed for energy efficiency and long life time often prove to be the best solution.

Applications suitable for the Z10 & Z12 are among others: water supply from deep wells, pressure boosting and water distribution in civil and industrial systems, water level control, dewatering, fire fighting and irrigation.

With this new addition to the ITT Lowara borehole family, the range of stainless steel borehole pumps now span between 4’’up to 12’’ pumps.
