25/05/2010

The northern Italian city of Ferrara is well-known as host of the H2O Accadueo exhibition, and for 2010 ITT Lowara and ITT Water&Wastewater (WWW) showcased their wide-ranging water distribution technologies, from May 19th to May 21st.

As its name suggests, H2O Accadueo international exhibition is dedicated to the technology involved in treating and distributing drinking water and wastewater. The ITT companies are similarly dedicated to this sector, and hosted a 32m² displaying their pump-related products.

This was an event that we could not afford to miss given the constantly increasing importance of this sector; today, water is the most precious asset for humanity, and water-related technologies are currently enjoying unprecedented importance.

The ITT stand displayed various products and highlighted their related applications. Emphasis was placed on the extent and completeness of the range of pumps and specific solutions for different applications in two market segments – residential and commercial water, and drainage.

ITT demonstrated its complete, efficient and reliable services and solutions for the entire water distribution process, paying particular attention to those promoting energy-saving and eco-compatibility issues.

The wide variety of products and brands in the ITT Corporation group, including Lowara and WWW, ensures the company operates at an international level in the fields of building services, water handling and treatment, and the disposal of waste water. To satisfy the requirements of the water market, ITT focuses on developing and implementing innovative technologies.

Particular focus was given on the new GL drain pumps and the new Single Box Plus and Double Box Plus water lifting units. Other products on show included the single-stage and multi-stage CEA, FH, SH, SSV and SVH pumps, the DOC, DOMO and DIWA drain pumps, 4” and 6” borehole pumps and, finally, the new generation of Hydrovar® variable-speed converters. Hydrovar® is the ideal solution for top-level installations requiring perfectly safe and reliable systems with elevated performance characteristics. Among the WWW drain products on display were the 4430 and 4680 Mixers as well as the F3153 pump
